These are the traits that the College JumpStart Scholarship rewards. If you are a high school, college or adult learner and are looking for ways to pay for college, then the College JumpStart Scholarship may be for you.

The idea for the College JumpStart Scholarship arose from one of our late-night conversations. We asked, “How can we help students in the future fulfill their dreams of going to college?” We believed that if we were willing to pay it forward by starting the scholarship program, others would too. Join us in supporting students who show a love of learning and perseverance.

Our eligibility requirements are straightforward: you must be a current student (high school 10th-12th or college) or be planning to enter college within the next 12 months. You must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident. You must complete the online application including the personal statement. Financial need is not considered nor are grades or test scores.

Students graduate with an average of almost $30,000 in student loan debt. We established the College JumpStart Scholarship as a way to reverse this trend and reward students who demonstrate a love of learning.

The College JumpStart Scholarship is supported through private and corporate donations. All funds are used to support students. It takes many volunteers to make the College JumpStart Scholarship work—from technical and customer support to judging all of our fabulous applications.
